Policeman (ポリス, Porisu) is a resident in Long Life Town.

He is located at his police station, which is next to the train station in District 1. He also runs the "Lost and Found".

Past 7PM until 3AM, Policeman becomes dangerous, as no one is allowed up past curfew. During this "dangerous mode", his eyes will light up like a flash-light and if Poor Boy is caught moving in them, he will begin to fire. This can cause a Game Over early on. He will not shoot while he is walking and if Poor Boy is standing still in his light.

Profile and Appearance

As the name would suggest, Policeman is a man who dons the typical blue policeman uniform; blue pants with a black belt, blue suit jacket with gold buttons, and blue cap with a round, gold device in the middle. He also has a white dress shirt underneath, complete with a red tie. His shoes are brown. Policeman hold a black pistol on him at all times. He has a large, round head and is face is deceptively friendly, bearing red blush marks on his cheeks. He is always looking to his right and his head seems to rock back and forth eerily mechanically.

In his "dangerous mode", his eyes glow yellow and act like a flashlight, as if he were a robot.

7:00PM	"Dangerous mode" is active. Will begin patrolling near the station.
7:45PM	Walks to the front of the fountain.
8:15PM	Patrols in front of the fountain.
8:50PM	Walks through the tunnel to District 3.
9:10PM	Patrols in front of the garbage can.
10:15PM	Walks up the stairs towards Yabu Hospital.
10:35PM	Patrols near the intersection of Yabu Hospital and Poor Boy's home.
11:20PM	Walks back down the stairs.
11:45PM	Patrols in front of the garbage can.
12:30AM	Walks through the tunnel to District 1.
12:50AM	Patrols in front of the fountain.
1:55AM	Walks back to the station.
2:15AM	Patrols in front of the station.
3:00AM	He goes to sleep inside the station.

Gossip and Knowledge

Despite his intimidating demeanor, the "Lost and Found" Policeman runs is a fairly useful mechanic of the game. All items tossed by Poor Boy end up there, meaning no items are truly lost. Should the player need to make room in their inventory, they can toss any item without worry.

Card Information

If Poor Boy shows him the name cards of various residents, most of the time he will simply comment that they are not an ex-convict. The only special case is Goro, as he has received crime stamps and is wanted. (For full dialogue check "Your Card".)

Item Information

Most items shown to Policeman by Poor Boy will only prompt him to ask if the item was lost and that he should turn it into the "Lost and Found".

Funny Cola - He will reveal that he drinks 13 cans a week.

How to Kiss

Policeman's only passion, aside from shooting, is to arrest someone. To get arrested, Poor Boy must get three crime stamps. There are three specific crimes for him to break and they can be completed in any order.

Poor Boy can buy cigarettes from the Train Station's magazine kiosk and smoke them in front of Policeman for a stamp. The damage taken by smoking is Poor Boy's current health minus one.
Poor Boy must seek a way to become nude. He can pay to use Leo's bathhouse, the only place he may undress. After doing so, he can sneak out by tip toeing and staying close to the counter towards the exit. While naked, speaking to Polieman will get him a stamp.
Directly after the events leading to Goro's arrest, Poor Boy may take a spare key from Thief Tip Toe IV, who's home's hole is in the alley way between Julie's Bar and the theater. Early in the morning, Julie will go out to mourn for Goro, leaving her bar unintended. Here, Poor Boy can use the spare key on her safe behind the bar's counter. In it is Julie's beloved hairpin. Poor Boy can then show it to Policeman and tell him he stole it, netting him a stamp.

After receiving three crime stamps, Policeman will excitedly announce Poor Boy's punishment and kiss him.

Trivia

He suffers from Toohs Annaw Disease, which is "wanna shoot" backwards. In Japanese, his disease reversed is "ピストル撃ちたい", or "wants to shoot with a pistol."
The Love Interest and Batayan are the only other characters who can be seen avoiding Policeman past curfew.
He resembles a Yuru-chara, or Japanese mascot character, especially regarding his proportions and his face design.
